I am archaeologist
and art historian by profession. Coming from a family of architects, it
was inevitable for me to love architecture and any kind of art, geometry, symmetry, composition, colors etc.
My parents are very hands-on type of people, from my mom's beading,
sewing, knitting and other crafts, to my dad's painting, fixing things at home (even
the car) to making handmade photo-album covers with silk thread.
So using my hands to create something came very natural. Having several hobbies at the same time was normal, and still is. Some of the projects that I'm working right now include making jewelry, trying to knit my scarf and finish my sewing projects that I started eons ago. (yeah, I am Gemini).
I started making jewelry while I was attending university when I found my mom's
beads from the 70's. I had no idea what to do, so slowly through a lot
of trials and mistakes I managed to learn by myself. Finally I got an opportunity to take silversmithing jewelry courses. I was amazed and fuled my passion for jewelry making even more.
